Job Description:

To oversee the Community Outreach and Marketing efforts of NeoHealth, which include: planning, assisting in community education, health fairs, and other promotional events. Also to coordinate the education and community relations activities of NeoHealth, and developing strategies that result in a positive community image.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates as leader of outreach team to identify community events that help promote increased health outcomes

  • Must be able to coordinate with other NeoHealth staff to plan and prepare health events

  • Maintains thorough understanding of NeoHealth healthcare objectives and plans events to facilitate health outcomes for NeoHealth

  • Collaborates with CEO and COO to develop outreach goals and annual budget for outreach activities

  • Helps develop promotional events for new sites, services or providers for NeoHealth

  • Attends planned events and facilitates activities of the event

  • Coordinates with Administrative Coordinator to schedule corporate events and/or outreach activities

  • Set clear objective purposes for scheduled events

  • Attend community and health events to distribute NeoHealth related materials

  • Designs and Prepares written materials needed for community events

  • Participates in health center meetings to provide input

  • Keeps records of attendance of events, services provided, and cost of events. Collects participants/attendees information needed to report annually.

  • Maintains outreach supplied and related materials

  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stake holders and agencies within the communities NeoHealth serves.

  • Prepares monthly reports for CEO and board of directors.

  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve outreach efforts, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to promote NeoHealth, increased access to healthcare, and increased health outcomes.

  • Prepares for mutual goal settings with CE?O and COO and follow through with goal achievements.

  • Works to accomplish NeoHealth's mission as set by the board of directors.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

  • High School graduate or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred

  • Prefer two to three years of office experience in a clinical facility or a community service organization

  • Must have a valid drivers license

Full time benefits after 90 day probationary period, hourly pay rate based on experience.
